Celebrating Spring!


espite today's weather, it is in fact officially Spring! Hip-hip-hurray! The winter blahs are over! This means that mother nature will be showing off for us, and more sunny days are in our feature. So where can you go to take in all of the PNW Spring beauty? Here are 5 local Spring related activities you are sure to enjoy! 


1.) The Spring Bloom 

     Located on Knutson Farm in Sumner WA, The Spring Bloom goes from March 29-May 5th. There's food trucks, a coffee stand, kid friendly games, farm animals, and beautiful flowers!! 


2.) Baby Animals & Bloom Days 

     Maris Farms in Buckley WA is hosting their annual "Baby Animals and Blooms" event from April 27-May 12. The event will feature tulip fields, play activities, a farmers market, and lots of cute animals! 


3.) Japanese Garden

     Located in Seattle within the Washington Park Arboretum, is the Japanese stroll gardens are 3.5 acres of beautiful Japanese plants and landscaping. Walking through this beautiful place is like walking through a garden museum, complete with Koi fish! The Gardens also offer Saturday Tea Ceremony, a Japanese tradition, as well. 


4.) Sunday for Public Sail @ Center for Wooden Boats

     The Center for Wooden Boats is a maritime museum located on South Lake Union. On Sundays beginning April 28th volunteer skippers will take you out on an electric boat, steamboat, spirit boat, schooner, or even a yacht. How fun is that!


5.) Puyallup Farmers Market

     Located in Downtown Puyallup, this Farmer's Market is sure to impress! The market is open each Saturday from April 20-October 12, and features both indoor and outdoor spaces. You are sure to find fresh fruit and veggies, beautiful flowers, live music, handcrafted vendors, food trucks, local vendors and more!
