If you are anything like me, your Pinterest board is filled with home improvement projects that you would love to tackle, however, you just do not have the time or skill set to make it come to fruition. Or maybe, with Spring around the corner your home could use some sprucing up.
Luckily, we have our very own contractor/home services professional right here in Tehaleh! I sat down with the owner of Bear Hands Home Services, and Tehaleh resident Benjamin Fuller, to find out more about him, his company and the many services they offer.
Benjamin and his family moved into Tehaleh in 2017 from Arizona and states that they love the PNW. He has twenty years of cyber security experience but felt stuck behind a computer screen. Benjamin stated that he has had a lifelong hobby of carpentry and loves working with his hands. As a result, Bear Hands Home Service was launched on July 1st, 2019, on the third birthday of his son, whom the business is named after.
Currently, Bear Hands Home Services employs three Tehaleh residents and is looking to hire two more people. Some of the services they offer include painting, home inspection services, smart home products installation, TV mounts, fence staining and repair, wainscoting, trim and molding, outdoor kitchens, window and door repair, outdoor lighting, to name a few.
Personally, some of his favorite projects to work on are wainscoting, ceiling trim and wood beams.
When asked what he loves most about owning a business in Tehaleh, he states that 99% of his business is from Tehaleh residents so he gets to meet and truly get to know his neighbors on a more personal level instead of just as clients. He loves that he is able to do what he is passionate about and that his clients trust him to make BIG changes to their homes. Over the next few years, he hopes to grow and serve as many neighbors in Tehaleh as he can with minimal wait times.
Outside of work, Benjamin likes to be in the outdoors, or doing woodworking. He also enjoys mentoring and volunteering.
It is evident not only in talking with Benjamin, but also his client reviews, that he loves what he does.
