-Tehaleh is on over 4,700 acres on unincorporated land in Pierce County, WA.
-The community was originally called Cascadia.
-Tehaleh is a Chinook word meaning "the land above".
-Tehaleh opened it's first model homes in September 2012.
-Tehaleh is going to be one of the biggest master planned communities in the state when it is complete!
-Tehaleh is currently in the middle of it's 25 year development plan.
-Tehaleh is one of the safest spots in the regions, due to it's elevation. It is safe from Puyallup river flooding and not in a Mt. Rainier related mudslide hazard zone.
-There are 2 elementary schools currently in Tehaleh - Tehaleh Heights and Donald Eismann.
-There are plans for an additional elementary, middle and high school.
-There is currently one restaurant in the community "The Mantle", with the first fast food restaurant "Wendy's" opening in the next few weeks.
-There is one coffee shop "Post and Pour", which offers coffee, beer, wine and appetizers. Along with a space to socialize and beautiful views of Mt Rainier.
-Tehaleh also has a convenance store- 7-11, along with a gas station. This is very handy for residents, as town is 4 miles away!
-There are currently 14 parks!
-Residents can walk over 40 miles of trails throughout the community.
-Tehaleh offers 9 homebuilders!
-Trilogy is the 55+ section of the community.
-There is also an assisted living facility Weasley, which offers independent, assisted and memory care services to it's residents.
